Places are reserved for residents of the Commune of Plan-les-Ouates. The conditions governing the allocation of places and the registration form can be completed directly on the Commune de Plan-les-Ouates website by clicking on the link. Families are contacted when a place corresponding to their request can be allocated.

The daycare centre, located on the top floor of one of the Tourbillon buildings in Plan-Les-Oautes, has two multi-age groups of 16 places each, with a terrace reserved exclusively for children. This multi-age group organization fosters a positive group dynamic where the older children develop caring skills towards the younger ones, boosting their self-confidence and expressive abilities. The little ones, meanwhile, learn through observation and imitation.
Our pedagogy enables children to discover the world at their own pace, in a safe and stimulating environment. We encourage autonomy and learning through experimentation, while emphasizing the emotional support and quality of human relationships essential to children’s development.
In addition to being a pre-school care facility, the daycare centre also has a training vocation for future childcare professionals (apprentices, school trainees, probationary trainees, etc.) and aims to develop actions in favor of vocational training and the integration of young people or young adults.
An initiative of the ForPro Foundation
This daycare centre is an initiative of the Fondation ForPro, which has brought together private and public partners to make this project a reality. The mission of the Fondation ForPro is to support, encourage and promote vocational training in the canton of Geneva. A 22,000 m2 campus, located at Tourbillon in Plan-les-Ouates, is intended for young people seeking guidance; apprentices in training; CFC graduates wishing to embark on an entrepreneurial career; and companies. ForPro offers a dynamic framework for skills development, career exploration, support in entering the professional world and personal fulfillment. Find out more
