Presentation of the daycare centre
The daycare centre Peillonnex is located on the ground floor of a building in the commune of Chêne-Bourg.
The pedagogical team is made up of childhood educators, socio-educational assistants and apprentices. A cook prepares meals on site, offering varied, balanced, seasonal menus. He is assisted by a cook assistant. The director and secretary make up the administrative team.
When welcoming new families, the educational team offers a period of familiarization, enabling us to establish a partnership with the parents and a spirit of benevolent communication, so that over the years we work together in a spirit of co-parenting.
The Peillonnex site’s pedagogical approach reflects a team approach that evolves over time. The child is at the center of our thinking and is the actor in his own development.
The educational team will also support the child in a pedagogy centered on free motor skills and multi-purpose equipment. These items can be everyday objects, natural, raw, recycled or transformed, to be manipulated and combined ad infinitum! Thanks to these materials, children enrich their endless experiments and build their intelligence, their understanding of the world and the actions they can perform. Exploiting this type of object enables them to integrate and appropriate progressive knowledge as they develop, and to develop their autonomy and imagination. Excursions are an integral part of the educational project.

Free-access play means giving free rein to the imagination and spontaneous movements of a child.
the joy of playing
"Playing is a child's work, it's their job, it's their life". This is not only amusing, it's crucial.
